I met a TCU fan once (there's still not many of them around here despite all of their success). All of them have said they were surprised that BYU wanted in the B12. The TCU fan is the only one that really understood the situation. The others see independence, BYUTV, and an ESPN deal as an enviable situation. The only downside in their eyes is home schedule(right now) and access to some bigger bowls, but they don't seem to care about that. I guess you don't know how valuable it is until your team is actually shut out.
