in player rankings...that universe..the one where D fav hasn't had any stability,,had a decent coach until this past year, and who as a big man layed with guards who can't shoot and thus no team respected..vs RW who is currently a better player, has been given the abiilty to do what he wants..still was on a team that didn't make teh playoffs, who's team played much worse D than Utah in general.. and who's offense wasn't that much better... The universe of teh future in which RW slows down and his carmelo ball hogng ways don't allow for his team to progess and in which D fav whos game is still expanding becomes a commodity no one else has..there are lots of littel guards running around shooting... Yet everyone wants Dwight howard... D favs ceiling is D howard esque with better offense. No one is saying RW isn't the better player right now... so is Carmello..but i wouldn;t take melo over D fav either.. adn RW has never had a year like he just had..and he's had a lot more time to have beeen a better player before now.... so there is an argument to be made..depending on your POV of how you want your team to play . I want to see what D fav can do under Quinnn WITH two good guards.. THEN make the poll again....RW plays wth ball in his hands Dfav doesn't, so it's not an easy comp.
