byu went conservative before halftime in the bowl game against Memphis partially because of the Boise game earlier in the season where byu threw a pick trying to run the 2 minute offense before half time, which resulted in another Boise score.

As a fan, I like to see them go hurry up and try and score at least a fg so long as there is at least one minute left in the half, and don't have any issues with them running it if there is less time than that or the game circumstances otherwise dictate playing smart.
