...and stepped up his game. He's made really intelligent assistant coaching hires (Holiday, 2Jay and Atuaia) and has shown some really good organizational skills in leading the offense. His coaches work well together and have built a very strong and cohesive unit. He's also improved significantly in his handling of the media and with his communication with his players. He doesn't lose focus playing favorites or get caught up with trying to surround himself with a bunch of clones. I have zero worries that BYU's offense will be even better next year.
The guy is putting together a really strong resume for a HC job somewhere soon.
