1,030 hp street legal, 1964 Chevelle SS
It was so quick, time went backwards!
Note: No snark intended... but among car people "fast" usually refers to overall top speed, while "quick" refers to acceleration.
The 2nd quickest car that I drove was a 1965 Corvair, heavily modified with a V8 in the front end.
I also built (but never drove) a street legal 1962 Chevy II Nova that ran 9.38 sec / 150 mph in the 1/4 mile.
