Byu could pay the WCC to let our other sports play there and do a bbal schedulin
agreement. Taking Basketball away from the WCC takes away the one revenue generating sport. But I would think there is a number that BYU could subsidize the WCC to make them ok with keeping the other sports. I also have to think Basketball in the big 12 would generate a few million more than in the WCC so you could subsidize the WCC 1-2 million for the other sports and still come out ahead.

I don't think a school has ever paid a conference to let their school play there but this makes economic sense and BYU bball w[th the MC fits a lot better in the big 12 than WCC. The other sports are fine in the WCC and travel cost would be cheaper there so they actually could be more profitable than a full invite to big 12 with bball and football only. Bball is possible to schedule around Sunday, the other sports are not as easy so you eliminate that probllem.

At this point though I would be very happy with football.
