Abyss as its true BYU fans are standing idly by watching a slow train wreck in front of us. I know to some BYU football is just a game and they passively watch it.
To a lot of fans, this is so much more. Yes, to me a missionary tool. When I was inactive, this is what I had to keep me in the "loop."
To others it is father and sons handing down traditions on a Saturday afternoon.
To some it filled a void of a gloomy world of depression
To some, it meant they actually wore the uniform. Played for a legendary coach, had a son on the team, nephew, grandson.
To some it was watching heroes throw the skin around like it was nothing. Watching linebackers T up on a defenseless WR or RB
To some it was moments. First game on ESPN! Miracle bowl. Overtime wins. Beck to Hairline, George from Hall, a beat down of Miami in 91, a win against A&M, Staley running down the sideline for a TD against the Utes. Doman in Coach Edwards last game!
For some, it is more...and there is nothing WRONG WITH THAT!! Win! Win!
