their coaches, the voters, the media, their partners and sponsors, future generations of BYU fans, and college football fans in general...

They need to win as much as possible going forward and it is sad every time they lost in the past which includes the recent and distant past, fans have always cared...but what we have to also remember as fans winning has not in the past, nor will it in the future be why team A, B or C (etc) have or will be included in a P5 conference...no matter how much someone wants to claim that to be the case.

That said BYU needs to win for all of the other above reasons...losses are taken hard by many...and wins are like manna from above or even better...please just win!
