It is absurd to hear people talking about him being out of touch on things that people here only pretend to have ever been in touch on. Tok isn't talking to university presidents and ADs on substantive negotiations and never has. He doesn't know and mingle with the decision makers. Hale did and still does. While his influence is certainly somewhat different, he is still in a different galaxy with anyone here when it comes to understanding the motivations at play.
