If you factor in young kids, Disneyworld is obviously more spread out, you have

more walking to do which with young kids isn't always ideal. The themed worlds of Epcot are usually lost on young kids as well. The ideal for us with little ones has been staying at Disney's Grand Californian and being able to basically walk into the grand california from the hotel and about 10 minute walk into Disneyland, very convenient. No need for any driving shuttle to and from the airport.

We use it as a mid-day nap ride. The kids like it, and I get a power nap.
