It's not that their schedules are better, it's that the NY6 Coalition...
...is contractually obligated to take the highest ranking G5 school, which most years is likely to be from the MWC or AAC.
However, the hope of getting an invite to a higher profile, yet ultimately meaningless NY6 bowl, is a stupid reason to give up our good schedules (which are guaranteed, unlike our yearly NY6 chances would be) and just plain dumb, but that's why these guys are local sports hacks--because they are not smart.
