a year after Noah Vonleh, who was the 9th pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Hornets (recently traded to Portland). Vonleh played a year at Indiana U.

Bryant was teammates in 2013-2014 with Aubrey Dawkins now playing at the University of Michigan, Tory Miller now at Colorado, and John Crosby now at Dayton.

Elijah Bryant is no stranger to top level competition.
