I remember watching Booker in those first 4 games
He was just so much better than his competition. I keep up with camp and practice reports so I knew he was struggling with pass protection and schemes. However, with just watching him run, it was clear that Utah had found someone special.

Booker's situation last year highlights the difficulty with JUCO players. They often don't arrive until Fall camp and it's tough for them to absorb all the necessary information, gel with the line, show the coaches everything they can do, and adjust to the speed of the D1 game.

I am not sure about all the Heisman stuff, but Booker is certainly a special talent. He reminds me a lot of Arian Foster with his blend of power and speed and he has some of the best hands I have ever seen from a running back. It's going to be fun to see what he can do this year. I was counting on McCormick to help spell Booker so he could stay healthy and then he was injured for the year in the Spring. Bad luck. I hope Utah finds a way to keep Booker fresh and healthy.
