For one: who cares? People drink. Yippee. But for two: those who have been tailgating have been model citizens not drinking, cleaning up after themselves, inviting visiting fans and Cougar fans alike. It's an opportunity for folks to mingle and enjoy anticipating the game.

People aren't falling over drunk, people aren't breaking out in fist fights, it's just fun. And it improves the reputation of the program overall that they have good, dedicated fans that for the most part are just like every other fan base.
