Interesting. I'm an Aggie fan and I would tend to agree that BYU seemed like they would run away with it... right up until Taysom missed a wide open Mitch Matthews for a touchdown. I knew we had a chance to stay in it after that. You guys moved the ball well, but in actuality you only scored on 2 of your first 5 drives (all Taysom-led). Ags scored on 4 out of 5 drives. That's not a winning combination for the Cougs even with Taysom in the ball game. As good as Taysom is, he can't win by himself. Your secondary (and penalties) killed your chances for a comeback.

I think you guys could do better overall this year, but your schedule is way harder and your secondary needs serious help. I'm not sure even a good defensive coach like Mendenhall can rescue them right away.
