RMs have advantage where intellectual and emotional maturity matter more than conditioning such as football and baseball, but in sports where intense conditioning is paramount, it's very difficult to recover from a two-year layoff.

A big move towards allocating significant time to conditioning in the mission field, perhaps an hour per day or two hours 3 days per week, could alleviate the problem.
