Here why BYU could have multiple suitors

1. All conferences (except SEC & no one wants to leave) have a Grant of Rights in place and due to the last episode of realignment no team can really leave their conference until the GOR has expired (even the rumor that 5 teams leaving BIG 12 would invalidate the GOR would bring on a lot of lawsuits from the remaining schools). So BYU is the best P5 school not tied to a GOR.

2. In the near future ESPN will be able to sell there channel without being tied to a cable bundle. As soon as this happens BYU's huge fan base will be more valuable than just an cable service area.

3. BYU's relationship with ESPN will give ESPN a discounted price when BYU joins an ESPN affiliated conference (this has been discussed at length before please don't make me explain it again).
