I live in Nebraska. New Coach and new system for the players. The Nebraska D
has had serious problems with mobile QBs over the last four years, See Wisconsin 2014, UCLA 2013. Not only that but they have started slow the last two years barely beating McNeese State 31-24 on a last second approx. 60 yard TD run by a Heisman contender who is now graduated. Lots of depth but little experience at the RB position. QBs who are switching from an option QB mentality to a PRO system.

They lost a key DL (Randy Gregory), starting inside linebackers and 2 large contributers from the secondary. The linebackers position is inexperience or underwhelming. DL will be decent but inexperienced, and the secondary should be decent. The situation of the D therefore plays directly into BYU's hands. Control the DL and give Taysom a couple of seconds and it is 20 yards a play.

Finally, speaking of the new coach Mike Riley. In his former years at OSU he faced BYU 3 times and only won 1 during the horrible Nelson years (2012).

So given all the above I think there is a decent chance on defeating Nebraska at home and I have tickets to see it.

Concerning BSU: We played at BSU with a completely depleted team due to injuries. So last year isn't a very good indicator of this year in my opinion. The year before a Taysom lead BYU defeated BSU 37-20 at home. Taysom has improved in his throwing game and that also works in our favor. Back at home, Taysom health, Taysom improved, defense healthy, this is a winnable game.
