That they've proposed to do the outdoor events in Yanqing or Zhangjiakou. It will either be changed or they'll use artificial snow like Sochi. Remember in '08 they had events in Shanghai and Hong Kong which are really far from Beijing. I'm not sure if that was in the original bid plan or if China changed the location after they won the bid. It would be the equivalent of Boston winning the bid and holding some events in Wisconsin and others in Florida. I can't imagine that the IOC gave China the bid for the summers if they knew that was the plan.
