So, yes, it's a real nice plus to be officially considered a P5-like program by these conferences, and it will pay dividends in better future schedules and may also help secure a better deal in the next playoff contract. It's not nearly as good as actually being in a P5 conference, but as long as we're independent we need the stamp of approval that these conferences are giving. It may keep BYU out of the ranks of the have-nots in the long run.
