Presidents did not want BYU. Second was that Utah had recently won 2 BCS games. They believed that Utah had proven they could hang with the quality of the conference. BYU needs to show they can do the same. The last 2 games with Texas did a lot for us. If we do not already have a silent invite, we have the opportunity this year to show we are a big time program. The Big 12 needs no more Kansas and ISU programs. Bronco keeps saying he wants into a P-5 conference, he needs to SHOW we belong with one. His talk is getting awfully cheap.
