my take on the order of probability of what he meant:

1. most likely: There are a few as-yet unannounced changes to the 2017 schedule that will make it better than 2016 (less likely that two great teams are added to the home schedule, but possibly one or two existing mwc-type games get replaced also)

2. also possible: just a general statement about improving indy scheduling, not really talking about the specific year over year of 2017 vs 2016 (especially given the context of the interview)

3. less likely: Bronco is actually MHVer AND Tuxedo Yoda and trolls BYU fans as a way of venting for all the hate he gets from fans

4. basically a zero percent chance: he was somehow alluding to the B12 schedule we'll be playing in 2017
