And they play crazy tough schedules and never have the "notch" of winning a
conference or a division in the conference. That can be a motivating goal for a team that may have a bad loss or 2 good losses and are out of the NC conversation.
I do see your point ... but BYU is not ND and couldn't pull it off unfortunately.
