Sorry, but no way could they make a mediocre college team, let alone thrive. They don't have the combination of the strength, size, speed and quickness that would allow them to compete.
A good HS team would destroy the best WNBA team. I am reminded of when the Utah Starzz were still around, they had a game against a local rec team, the rec team won by 60, they had a rematch and it was closer but the rec team still won. This should tell you some thing.
They obviously have bball skills, but physically they just don't match up.
