It's been just over 2 months now since DrTDR- Troy and his family lost their little in stature but huge in heart and mind Austen. I don't know Troy nearly as well as many of his other thousands and thousands friends, acquaintances and patients but I do know him well him enough to know he is one of the nicest guys, best fathers , best husbands and the biggest BYU fan I know. I consider myself a huge fan but his BYU fandom makes me look like a Ute.

We are entering one of Troy's favorite times of year. He has mentioned watching BYU sports with his boys, and I know especially with Austen, it is one of his favorite activities. I can only imagine how difficult this first BYU sports season without Austen is going to be for him. I know there is nothing I or anyone else can do to take away his sorrow but maybe we can make this season as enjoyable as possible for him and his family.

I think it would be neat if Cougar fans everywhere would give a DrTDR shout-out in memory of Austen at each opposing venue throughout the upcoming BYU sports season and post your picture here on CougarBoard, and if Troy approves, on his Facebook page "In Loving Memory of Austen Russell". I know there have been other huge Cougar fans who have also lost loved ones recently so maybe el Jefe could create a Shout-Out category?

I know we are still a few weeks out from the first game in Lincoln but who is planning on going that could get this DrTDR Cougar fan shout-out campaign going? Let's have a great BYU sports season and continue to show some big-time Cougar Nation love to the Russell Family . Go Cougars!
