I went with a South African guy who works in our office. He was jonesing for a rugby fix. It was a lot of fun, we watched Samoa and Fiji tie then the Eagles laid an egg most of the match. My coworker loved the evening.

I did learn the Japanese coach Eddie Jones, is a scoundrel and a cad (according to my friend) but a fantastic coach. They hate him because of his Brumbies and Wallabies coaching days. Apparently those teams regularly beat up on his SA Springboks. So I hate him!

It was a lot of fun at the match. I also watched most of the Super Rugby matches including quals, semi's and final. The Highlanders got on a roll and couldn't be stopped. I thought the Hurricanes would dominate.

Anyway, the Eagles need to get LOTS better. That 50+ to 3 beating we took from the All Blacks was a nightmare. Hopefully BYU can learn to play like the All Blacks. I want to win the next 25 NC's to give us a nice round 30, which would be more than Cal.
