Are Callaway drivers and woods harder for anyone else to hit but when you hit
them square they really go? I picked up a Taylor Made RBZ driver that took a little while to figure out how to hit but now I can hit it pretty consistent. Most of my drives are in the 240-260 range.
After some shrewd trades and exchanges with some other clubs, I ended up with a Callaway Big Bertha V Driver and 3 Wood. I've had a couple of the guys that I play with struggle to hit the Driver too. When I do hit it, it's going 260-280 with no problems. Been out on the range with it a bunch and there is no consistency to it at all and I can't figure out what I'm doing different from when it goes to when it just bounces off the tee.

Last night I tried the 3 wood. Had a hard time on the range with it. Took it out on to the course. From 260 out, hit it pin high in the left bunker one time. The second time it shot up in the air and went 100 yards. The second time it didn't feel like I did anything significantly different with my swing. I don't think I have any two clubs with more inconsistency than those two.
