Went to Disneyland last night after work with my oldest daughter, noticed..
.. noticed something new that I've never seen before. There is a new electric parade at night called "Paint the Night", it's incredible and an absolute must see, btw.

Well, my daughter and I caught the very end of it while watching from Small World (they allow 3-4 layers of viewers to stand out front of Small World during parades, usually the best location due to lack of awareness that this is permitted).

Right after the parade we quickly went to the Toon Town Railway Station, to ride the train to the Main Entrance Station to then leave the park and drive home. By the time we arrived at the Main Entrance Station, the parade was still happening, and the very portion we happened to see near Small World was coming right by (the final 1-2 floats). I've never seen that before, watching the parade at the very top of the parade route, getting on the train, even stopping at the Tomorrow Land Station and eventually leaving the train at the Main Entrance Station, and noticed that the parade had still not completed.

My daughter and I arrived at around 7pm from North County San Diego, rode the Casey Jones train, Small World, window shopped for an hour, took the train around the park, then went home. Good times as summer is nearly coming to an end. Didn't hit up Matterhorn or Star Tours, those are consistently our staple rides, but wanted to share this interesting piece of information. Many of the sold out 60th Anniversary merchandise has returned to inventory, interesting to see all the ornate 60th Anniversary décor.
