Lost in all of this is the fact that pure strength doesn't always translate
into performance in terms of explosiveness. I like what I hear about BYUs latest program that is more about applied strength and movements -- training what you'll actually be using.

As Gunther said, the yewts may be squatting 2000lbs. but it might be lowering their 40s from a 4.3 to 4.4
