Are there enough teams to do 8 major conferences with 12 teams each and an 8
team playoff? This would allow a 9 game conference schedule, and 8 team playoff with conference champs feeding the tourney.
Or as an alternate, you go 6 power conferences of 12 teams, and 2 at large bids for the 8 team playoff.
Either scenario would be really exciting.
