already changed quite a bit since we turned indie. We're already a pseudo-P5 program, although recruiting and money still lags. With a couple real good seasons in the not-too-distant future, that could change. If we can start handling these very difficult schedules and land among ranked programs regularly, I'm not sure the powers that be will be able to shut BYU out of the playoff money. And, recruiting would very likely pick up. Maybe we get more TV money from ESPN as our home schedules improve. These are a lot of maybes, but there is a scenario where independence works out great for BYU.

Of course, I'd just assume not find out if we can pull all that off. I'd rather we grab a spot in the Big12 if at all possible. Still, if we're stuck as an independent, I'm not going to lose hope of establishing a great program. Won't be easy, though.
