I went back and looked at the 4-year win percentages of every graduating class since LaVell took over. 23 out of the 26 senior classes that LaVell coached for their whole careers had a higher win percentage than what this year's group has coming in (LaVell's first two senior classes and last one were worse). Any graduating class coached by Crowton at least 2 seasons had a lower win percentage than this year's group. Another season of 8-5 would make this the 2nd worst group of seniors not coached by Crowton since 1977.
This group needs to win 10 games or more this season just to avoid being in the bottom quartile of BYU graduating classes over the past 41 years.
