Yes, we can call it "The Lent" feature
where we give it up for a period of time in order to make self improvement, as determined by the individual. Seems like a winner. The drama queens could make self announcements about "see you in X weeks". We could also do group "hunger strikes" when offended by one more more mods, have a mass "hunger strike" to protest and lock ourselves out for a designated period of time.

I had a friend who was Catholic and a heavy drinker. I think he was always worried that his drinking was out of control, so he would stop drinking every January 1st and "give up sobriety for Lent". Hilarious.

He was kind of an angry drunk. I liked him better during the sobriety period.
