but if its a grass those things wont work. you may have to round up the section and re seed. some people try painting every blade with roundup, put on a cotton glove and dip it in round up and then touch all the blades. seems like too much work.

just kill the section and start over.

Sprayed with crabgrass killer and nothing. Johnson grass was my next guess.
