I don't know if people on here don't realize...
But when an athlete, specifically football player on full ride, is on a scholarship, they are already getting a monthly stipend for rent, food, etc. I know this because I have seen my kids live it. One of my kids had a full ride, the other a walk-on that ultimately earned a scholarship. The scholarship was more than enough for them to live in an apartment where rent was about $600/month and they still had about $250 left for food. Now with COA, kids are getting 4-5,000$ extra for whatever they want.

I feel that the point of the scholarship is to give the kids a chance to have an education, not live like superstars. If they don't go to class, or don't qualify academically, I am all for coaches taking it away and giving it to another kid
