Not in a bad way, but just with all of the cross-training going on.
My guiding principle is the belief that the coaches want to find a way to get Davis, Hannemann, Nacua, and Preator on the field at the same time. Those would be the Top 4 DBs. I think they are really looking to play Preator at safety to make that a reality.
Obviously, in the case of a Nacua suspension, the next safety slides in, and as we've heard recently, that's Takenaka. Or if a higher level of safety position knowledge is desired, more of a free safety type like Grant Jones. The coaches trust him (think Skye PoVey from last year) and he's been at that position for two entire fall camps.
