Why would they? Armstrong is a read-option QB.
He is not a pocket passer, and doing that basically hamstrings his skills.
Plus, Riley has stated he adjusted his O to fit Armstrong's skill set. This 2015 NU offense is not a max protect offense, other than perhaps on long down and distances situationally. Similar to Taysom that way.
