comparable to laser in many ways. Speed is faster than most home lasers, cost per printed page is about half as much, and ink lasts longer than laser toner.

Also, one of the downsides of laser is that color pictures on a laser printer cheaper than $800 or so are usually not as good as inkjet. These do not have that downside.

Caveat, I do not own one, so I cannot verify that all this is true, but it is what I have heard.
