on a serious note...God bless you brother in your journey. That is a tough tough thing to deal with and I'm so happy to hear you have such good sense of direction and loyal people close to you that love and support you. My little brother had an onset of schizophrenia in his mid 30's and he went through some really hard times. The one thing that kept him from becoming homeless was the patient, loving support of a few family members.

He doesn't work now but collects SSI and it's enough for him to rent an apt and have a simple life. For him, that's as much as he wants and I'm thrilled to see him succeed with that each day. I've gone through some very hairy and emotional times with him helping him work through it and keeping him from getting lost and falling through the cracks of society. Hearing your story gives me hope that maybe at some point in his life he'll find room to be happy and have some joy in his life too.

I pray that you find a pot of gold at the end of your rainbow (also, I'm jealous you're going to Iceland. I've always been fascinated with that land). We expect a full report after you return home from your mission!
