A few thoughts, but only you have the answers
1. You are not alone. Many people feel this way often. Interesting quote from Pres Hinckley,
“[The fact is] most putts don’t drop. Most beef is tough. Most children grow up to be just people. Most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration. Most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. …

“Life is like an old-time rail journey—delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed."

Point is, it's ok to feel this way at times. Not saying misery loves company, but it's not totally uncommon. Doesn't mean you have to accept it, but puts it in perspective

2. The grass is always greener. I've learned this the hard way. However, it has helped me to have gratitude for what I have. Being content often has a bad connotation, but Elder Christofferson gave a great talk on this. Not saying you aren't, but we as people often focus on what we don't have rather than what we ydo

3. Try to find fulfillment in something outside of work. My profession is obsessed with work and money. And guess what, it doesn't make them any happier. I have so much admiration for people who find fulfillment in activities outside of work that aren't costly - family, friends, hobbies, service

4. If you really think making a move is right then take whatever soul searching and pondering you need to do to try and find your passion and play to your strength. While passion is important, if you don't play to your strengths, you'll be like Rudy: inspirational yes, but countless years of work to only be a 4 out of 10 - unless your completely ok with that, and that fine, but most people aren't.

5. Read D&C 9

Good luck
