Hyperbole or serious?
Utah is "ranked" higher than Michigan by a lot. Utah is around #30 on both polls, Michigan is buried at the bottom with 1-2 votes.
I always want the teams we play to win their games. It strengthens our schedule. And this season, since we don't play Utah, there is the added icing on the cake of a Michigan win. Doesn't affect another opponent, yet gives a nice measuring stick against them.
