stolen last week sometime from the underground garage at his apartment building. He hasn't been riding it since he got his motorcycle and at first he thought the apartment building folks probably picked it up for not being correctly marked. When he went in and had them check their storage, they had no record of it.

I might be able to go back and find the receipt from his mission and find a ID number for it...

Any real benefit from reporting it at this point? I doubt he will ever see it again. I guess I could see if it is covered under my homeowners policy for some reason, but I doubt it and the value doesn't make it worth doing.

Any recommendations other that writing it off as a loss?
