The 2009 OSU team that BYU beat was ranked
19 at the end of the season. That was hardly a bad team that Riley was working with. In fact, Nebraska hasn't done better than that since 2001, so I agree that they probably won't look like the OSU 2009 team, although for a lot different reasons than you do.
The 2012 game was touch and go through the 3rd quarter. The OSU offense scored 21 points in 2011.
