True. And I'm totally sympathetic to your viewpoint. $720/year + DVR and other tech to support t.v. is honestly not worth it for me. I'm not anti-tech, I actually teach educational technology, but we don't have a lot of tech at home for a number of reasons. I anxiously await the day where I can simply pay for the 12 events a year (13 or 14 on on 1984type year) that I want to watch on live t.v.
