But that's how the rule was and is for us in AZ, not sure if HS has updated this or not. It's actually a safer block to have a RB cut a LB over having to hit them high, head injury wise, but could be changed over LB's trying to hurdle blockers and getting injured may be why some have eliminated cut blocks everywhere. Haven't seen it called in our HS games nor have my sons been told of a new rule like this.
