and gritting my teeth, holding my breath, and praying for a strong defensive showing and a little more Mangum magic (it just has to be a 250 yard game with only 1 INT - I don't need or want another "Hail Mary" to end it... I am content with it being decided by 4 with 2 minutes left and the defense on the field, I can handle that kind of stress)...

But, you know... UCLA isn't 'BAD', maybe the football gods have them overrated and ranked too high, maybe Boise State is every bit their equal... maybe our defense has actual played very well against a couple GOOD offenses, and held their own well enough to pull out a win.

Saying we have no chance is just stupid... there are QBs all over the nation that have seen their seasons end in game 1 and game 2 to broken feet, broken ankles etc... not wishing ill will on Rosen, but I'd still like to see Warner or Langi end his day early and force UCLA to play with a backup...

Our run defense last week even without Tuiloma did well. I think we'll see that we can hold the line and fill gaps to keep it under control this week. I don't see their RB getting 150 against us, though he might get 80-90..

I think the difference is that this team believes they can hang.. they aren't intimidated by the fact they are playing UCLA.. I don't think it really matters, and I don't think they will find playing in Pasadena intimidating...
