I kind of wonder if that's why all the BSU HCs that moved on, have struggled
And if Patterson could have the same problem
Being a coach of a USC or Texas is probably more like being an NFL coach and being a coach of a TCU, BSU, etc, is more like being a HS coach.
At times I think BYU is a mix. We get some highly rated kids because they are LDS and we get a bunch of blue collar kids because they weren't taken by the big boys.
