Even though the season was a losing one, I watched the games because of the QB. Watching Beck was fun. We hadn't had a gunslinger like that in a long time and I still don't think most fans realize today how good he was. He had some bad luck w/coaching & changes to the offense...but you could see his talent.

Fast forward to this year, and we're seeing someone like Beck, but I think w/ greater potential. Beck's arm + Hall's "it" and he's just very good.

I hope the program can build around him, so that he has a more successful, less bumpy run than John Beck Soph/Jr seasons.
