of the P5 conferences but they would beat the next 9 to 10 with regularity. They would drop a few headteachers just like they do now, but the program is solid enough to compete in these conferences every year and actually be in a position to win it every 4-8 years.

To say BYU is an 8 win MAX in these leagues is woe-is-me pessimism. There would be a lot of 8 win seasons but its not a ceiling by any stretch.
