We love this series, you are a peer football team akin to series we've had with Oregon State recently. We had a 4 game H-H series where each team protected it's home turf. We loved that series! College Gameday came to Boise for one of those. With BYU getting the win this year, it went from us possibly being 5-1 vs. BYU to a much more competitive 4-2 (or you guys like to say it, 2-2 minus the terrible Crowton years haha).

We're not afraid of playing people. Sure, we hate to lose especially top BYU for many of us LDS Broncos have BYU family that talk as much as we do Ultimately though, we'd love to play the best competition we can. There's a reason 35,900 fans dwindled to maybe half that in the second half last weekend vs. UH. Not very exciting to watch the 2nd string put up 6 points in the entire second half. I stuck around because I'm a football nerd but most fans aren't really at that level. There's a reason the hottest tickets in Boise are when BYU or other big schools come to town (see Oregon, UW, Oregon State, etc.). That's respect. You don't truly respect another team if you don't want to play them because you think you will lose. Heck, you don't even respect yourself at that point.

P.s. The MW sucks, can you please figure out a way to join the PAC14 and do it with us?
